Strategically Located in the heart of the Middle East
Jordan is located in the heart of the Middle East, Northwest of Saudi Arabia, South of Syria, Southwest of Iraq, and East of Israel and the Palestinian National Authority.

The kingdom has access to the Red Sea via the port city of Aqaba, located at the northern end of the Gulf of Aqaba.

Jordan is also in close proximity to European countries with flights durations of approximately 4 hours.
Moderate Climate All Year Round
Jordan boasts a Mediterranean climate ideal for year-round holidays and travel. Amman is sunny and cloudless from May to October, with average temperatures around 23’C (73’F). Springtime brings optimal weather, lush with greenery, and autumn is equally mild and pleasant. July and August are hot and dry but not oppressive. Aqaba and the Jordan Valley are ideal winter resorts, with temperatures averaging 16-22’C (61-72’F) between November and April.
Accessibility
While most of the arrivals to and almost half of the departures from Jordan are carried out by land, given the Kingdom’s proximity to many of its source markets such as Syria, Lebanon and Saudi Arabia, the air transportation is also booming thanks to the increasing number of arrivals from and departures to long haul destinations. Jordan is currently developing a new terminal at its main international airport, the Queen Alia International Airport, which will increase the airport’s capacity by 3 folds.
Jordan is also engaged in development plans for its railway networks, which will first aim at serving local destinations and eventually extend to regional destinations. All of these efforts combined will serve to enhance tourist arrivals and make Jordan even more accessible
